Day 05 - A show you hate

They fed us wine at the company meeting (well, afterward, and with dinner), so filters are sort of off.

I can't think of a singular show that I hate, but rather, a genre of shows: those sort of 'reality' shows that glamorize and give fame and notoriety to people who really don't deserve it. I won't even watch them, any of them. Anything with the Kardashians (is it just me, but does anyone think of this?), Bridezilla, Bachelor, Bachelorette... you name it. These people are getting more than their 15 minutes' worth, and we really need to stop rewarding them for it.

(I did rather enjoy season one of RuPaul's Drag Race, when we had cable.)

Ew yes, hate those shows. Especially the Bachelor/ette ones--never watched, but the premise alone revolts me.

It was a surprisingly good time, though we were saying that they should have let us have one of our allotted 2 glasses of wine / beer before the meeting portion to loosen us all up a bit more. Thank goodness I took the bus home.

I have never been interested in any of those shows. And I don't like the competition shows either EXCEPT I will watch So You Think You Can Dance for the dances. I don't care about the competition part -- I just love seeing that incredible talent.

I would watch that except for my tastes, there's not ENOUGH dancing.
