So. In P&P (the BBC/A&E miniseries), it is not explained how Lady Catherine (and Mr. Collins, who writes to Mr. Bennet about it) finds out about Darcy's proposal to Elizabeth. I have not read the book (though it is on my list — do not shun me!) and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Austen explains it there. Thanks in advance.
(Yes, I rewatched disc 1. I blame
trexphile. :) )
ETA: OMG, I can't believe I misspelled "prejudice". ::runs away in horror::

Date: 2006-06-05 01:47 pm (UTC)I'm currently rereading P&P and have only gotten as far as Mr Collins's arrival. It's been many years since I've read it, so I have no idea, but thankfully you were able to get your question answered ;)
