Today's gonna be a banner day (not)

I put together the coffee pot and went into the bathroom to get ready for work, not realizing I had neglected to put the actual pot in place. So I do the makeup thing and get dressed, then go into the kitchen to find the coffee maker merrily brewing but with no pot to put it in, it was just leaking everywhere (it has a pause and pour feature). I put the pot in place but the resulting brew was full of grounds.

Now waiting for pot #2. (Technically, cup #2, as I only make enough to full my travel cup, so it could have been a LOT worse.) And yes, the pot's in place.
