Yesterday was nice and lazy. I don't want to go back to work. :P Maybe it'll be slow and I'll get to work on paperwork-ordering again.

Watched the 2005 Pride & Prejudice last night. Kinda meh about it. Kiera Knightley was okay (though how this was Oscar-nomination-worthy, I can't guess), but Matthew Macfayden? Not nearly broody or smouldery enough. (Yes, I realize I'm awfully biased.) He also reminds me of someone I used to know so that makes it worse for him. I was mostly impressed with the way things were compressed into a 2 hour movie. Oh, and I felt like I should have put the captioning on, because I had a hard time hearing the dialogue over the music. (Was it mixed in Doubly? ;) )

I always got the impression that Firth's was also shy and socially inept but put on the Scary Impassive Aloof face to hide it. Macfayden just came off as looking sort of dorky and awkward to me. Of course, the fact that he reminds me of someone for which I don't have the highest opinion doesn't help his case one bit. :)
