It takes real talent to get something in one's eye in the middle of the night. Go me.

So, if you're not familiar with my other journal, I have been looking for real work for almost a year now. If not for the generosity of parents and some short-term (and one longer term) freelance jobs I'm sure I'd be living in the back room of my business by now (a cybercafe). Eugene is allegedly part of the "Silicon Forest" (clever, huh) but I think this part of the forest has been slash-and-burned. Everyone, think good thoughts. My SCA membership is coming up due and at this point I can't even afford it.

even though i suck at actually posting it to the list, i have indeed been thinking many employment vibes towards you these past few months. i think about how hard it was for me to find this job, and how happy i am in it, and think hopeful thoughts that you'll find something as perfect right soon.
