Holy cow. If this were April 1st not the 24th, I would think this was a joke.

I wish I could believe that something would come of it ... Although I'm extremely proud to be a Californian now.

Holding my breath and keeping my fingers crossed.

This administration has been allowed free reign for to long, they need to remember who they work for.

Oh, they DO remember who THEY work for...
- Big Oil
- Big Corporations
- Big Oil
- Fat-cat Executives
- Big Oil
- The Ultra-Radical-Right Christian Machine
(not to be confused with normal god-fearing peoples)
- Big Oil
- The Top 1%
... which is 99.44% of the problem. :/

His cronies in the Republican dominated congress will probably save him from the embarassment of an impeachment conviction, for now, but his Presidency will be all but finished.

I like how impartial your source is.

Yeah, I see the wink and all... :)

It is a liberal-oriented site, so it's kind of to be expected. My question is: why nothing about this on, say, CNN? Big story there is Bush's taking aim at bringing prices at the pump down. (Tell them what they want to hear, I guess.)

Maybe your source isn't good.

The resolution itself is real: the Illinois General Assembly page about Joint Resolution 125 (http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/BillStatus.asp?DocNum=125&GAID=8&DocTypeID=HJR&LegId=25794&SessionID=50&GA=94). The California one isn't online as yet, probably because it's an amendment to a pre-existing AJR.
