Vague remembrances...

I seem to recall someone on my flist was (once upon a time) a huge fan of the fic writer Jane St. Clair... I found via this Voyager fandom link collection post that she has an LJ -- 3jane -- and a fic website. (No, you don't have to admit it if you're the one I'm thinking of. ;) )

UGH.

Woke up this morning sounding like I smoke a pack and a half a day, and feeling slightly woozy. Sad thing is my poor cat Rowan is sneezing and sounds congested too. And they're forecasting a high of 98°F, which I know is peanuts for some of you, but it's also kind of humid, and we don't have A/C. And I feel crappy. Who knows -- there may be a trip to the movies anyway.

Also, note to self: don't take your sinus / allergy meds on an empty stomach, because your stomach does not like it. You should know better.

The Roman-themed movie CF has done with Aishwarya Rai, Ben Kingsley, Alexander Siddig and the little boy from Love Actually (Thomas Sangster) has been changed back to The Last Legion (they had, for who knows what reason, had changed it to The Enchanted Sword, which was a "What were they thinking?" moment.).

Unfortunately, the reviews on advanced screenings on IMDB are not particularly kind. Let's hope that they are able to fix it in post-production with editing magic. Perhaps that is why it is not scheduled for release until 2007...
