Note to world at large:

If you get a letter that mentions "Notice of intent to report negative credit..." for some loan/bill you pay and you know your account is current or is paid in full — it means that some time in the past you got a credit ding for a payment at least 30 days past due, or filed a bankruptcy, or something. Just don't scream at the customer service person who picks up the call after you've been on hold for 15 minutes (because there are 200+ people in line in front of you making the exact same call), because believe me, that person has heard the same fucking story a zillion times this week, and may even seem psychic in that they know precisely what you're going to say. While we empathize with your annoyance/frustration/anger/confusion, we customer service folks had no control over the wording of the notice so don't take it out on us. (Believe me, if we had? It would have been worded way better than it was.)

Thank you.
