desktop screenshot frenzy

I too dislike a cluttered desktop but I also like having my applications easy to get to. The desktop image is a screen capture from The Legend of Lotus Spring, a 'made-for-women' PC game that's eh, ok, to play but the scenery is beautiful. This particular image is from a close up of a rolled up painting in the gallery in one of the buildings.: )
Yes, my hard drive partitions are named weirdly (Tsunami, Khulutun, Lao Ma). Yes, those are Tenchi Muyo! icons. :) Yes, I'm running MacOS 9.1 -- I'm a little afraid to try X even if it does look cool. :)
