Thank you

...to all who thought good things. They took x-rays to make sure it wasn't the beginnings of heart failure (she's an old kitty, 14, with a heart murmur). Thankfully they saw no evidence of that.

So Rowan's home, on antibiotics, and tomorrow we'll get a prescription for a bronchial dilator (in pill form). The first thing she did after we dosed her was polish off all of the remaining turkey wet food in the bowls. I think she's feeling better.

Me too :) When we brought her home we noticed she hadn't sounded so... not wheezy in a long while. Unfortunately the pharmacies were all closed by the time we left the vet but we should be able to pick the pills up today (the antibiotic came home with us).

Yay! Glad to hear this! It's always so scary when our babies get sick...

I know. And from experience I didn't want to let it go if she couldn't get food or water into her. They can go downhill too quickly, and Rowan's always been so tiny to begin with...

So...

More like a sinus infection. Figures I would have a cat prone to sinus issues--like mother, like daughter...? :)
