A Tolkeinesque Saga

Today: the search for sugar-free jelly that is not sweetened with aspartame. We'd had a jar of strawberry spread by La Nouba and some grape stuff by Sorbee, but we ran out of the former and grape just doesn't work very well with scones. End result: not found. Feh. Got some 'reduced carb' stuff which isn't bad but still kinda spendy, carb-wise. I swear to GOD, I was out all damn day. (The scones came out yummy.)

The Grammys just started here. The only person I recognize so far is Gwen Stefani (hubbahubba) and holy shit, is that the song from Fiddler on the Roof???

Probably, but with scones languishing in the pan, immediacy was desired. :)
