First the hoo-hah about SpongeBob, and now this.

Gay Canadian service members can wed on base. And yet here, the sky is falling because a kid on a cartoon bunny show has a mom and "step mom", peripheral characters whose relationship is never directly stated, nor do they even so much as touch during the show.

ARGH.

I'm so sorry that the climate in your country is so conservative. It's so strange that two countries as similar as ours have diverged so far from one another on this issue.

(Meanwhile, I about died of shock when I saw our military would perform same-sex marriages. That was impressive.)

BUT *proud* Boston is still airing the episode and offering it out to other stations that want to show it.

Still, it's total bullshit. I've seen the Buster Bunny show - I was impressed with how it didn't talk down to kids.
