What is it about a pair of Doc boots that make you feel like you could conquer (or at least stomp all over) the world?

Not me -- they give me blisters. What size do you wear? I've got a pair of barely worn size 8s that I'm looking to let go of -- what do they normally cost?

I normally wear a size 9-1/2 to 10 ladies' (US).

I don't quite remember what I paid back in 1994--plus I bought them in London so I paid in pounds which confuses my memory even more.
